High Precision RTK GPS
2015-16
Competitively priced RTK GPS capability, developed as part of a larger project, is now available for general release.
The base station supports multiple rovers with RTCM 3.1 corrections sent over 900MHz spread-spectrum radios with power configurable up to 1 watt.
Dual antennas allow the rovers to determine heading while stationary.
The system is able to maintain centimetre positioning in RTK mode despite half the sky being obscured. It achieves this by taking advantage of both GPS and GLONASS constellations.
Operating from 10-36 VDC, it is targeted at mobile equipment applications.
